Carrolls Bar

Carrolls of Dominick Street wasn’t long making a name for itself in Galway and for all the right reasons. Inside you will be greeted by an electic mix of old meets new, they have upcycled Jameson bottles and more beautiful nostalgia throughout. This bar also has a good mix of clientele from all types of life, its a unique bar yet has something to please everyone. The Guinness is flawless too, they also offer a good selection of craft products too including cocktails, beers, ciders and spirits.

Again the entertainment here is suited to all sorts, the key to this is the quality of the musicians. From the two Dave’s who plays at the weekends to their traditional music with family ties.

As beer gardens go Carrolls go above and beyond. To the rear they play host to a double decker bus that serves home to Birdhouse. They also have their newly curated ‘Caravan Club’. I would often think of it’s owner as a visionary and the vision he has shared throughout out this bar has to be seen to be appreciated.
